CoolerScout is a catalog and comparison app for air conditioners suitable for European heatwave scenarios.

Data We Collect

CoolerScout does not require an account and does not collect personal information through the app.

The app does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or third-party AI services. Favorites and comparison selections are stored locally on the device.

API and Server Logs

The app loads product catalog data, images, and video metadata from the CoolerScout API. The API and website may keep standard technical access logs, such as request time, IP address, user agent, and error status, for security, debugging, and service operation. These logs are not used for advertising, user profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Product Sources and External Links

CoolerScout includes product names, supplier/source URLs, images, and product or installation videos from public supplier, retailer, or brand sources. When you open a supplier or source link, you leave CoolerScout and the external website's own privacy policy applies.

Video Playback

Product videos are played through the app's native video player. Some videos are hosted by product brands, suppliers, or public media hosts. The app does not upload your personal content.
